NOVA Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine
International ProgramUnlike many of the other international programs, this one is a 3-yr program that culminates in a DMD degree.

- TOEFL: minimum of 80 on CBT
- Official transcripts from the foreign dental school
- Course-by-course evaluation of transcripts by: WES, Josef Silney, ECE
- NBDE part I: minimum score of 85
- 3 letters of recommendation
A personal interview, a psychomotor bench test, and a clinical case presentation will be required as part of the final admission process: the following may be included: Canadian wax carving exam, amalgam prep and restoration and a full metal crown prep on typodont. The fee for this bench test is rather hefty though compared to most other bench tests at other international programs, it's $2500
Tuition for 2009/2010 is $50,300, there are few more thousands of dollars in fees here and there (books, instruments, etc).

University of Florida College of DentistryInternationally-Educated Dentists ProgramThis school does not accept foreign trained dentists as advanced standing, but they have a special
4-year program for international dentists that culminates in a DMD degree. This program gives priority to Florida residents and up to 2 students are accepted each year.
Requirements & Application Process:- Only open for US citizens or permanent residents.

- Proof of dental license in your home foreign country.
- Evidence of a dental degree from your home foreign country.
- CAAPID application (ECE course-by-course evaluation and two letters of recommendations)

Qualified candidates are invited to a an interview, but there is no bench exam.
Tuition & fees are relatively modest for Florida residents ($27,000 per year, almost double that for non-residents). Total estimated cost of attendance per year is about $50,000 for Florida residents and $76,000 for non-residents.
